Job summary

Alexander Youth Network is seeking a Mental Health Counselor for its Day Treatment Program in Fayetteville, NC. The role focuses on managing behavior and tracking treatment progress while coordinating services for children and families in a supportive environment.

You will lead group activities aligned with treatment goals and contribute to the development and review of Person-Centered Plans. Valid driver's license and MS Office familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field required.
• 2–4 years of experience in child mental health/day treatment.

Responsibilities

• Manages the behavior and records the treatment progress of clients in the Day Treatment learning environment.
• Coordinates service delivery by assessing the needs of the child and family and linking with appropriate services.
• Conducts and leads group activities to support treatment goals; ensures that the Person-Centered Plan is created, modified, and reviewed as appropriate through the Child and Family Team.
• Provides agency vehicle transportation as needed.

• Qualified Professional (QP) - 2 – 4 years of experience in child mental health and/or day treatment.
• Familiarity in MS Office applications preferred.
• Valid Driver's license in state of residency.
