Job summary

Legacy Behavioral Health Center, Inc. is seeking Mental Health Counselors to serve clients in Okeechobee County and surrounding areas.

This independent contractor role offers a flexible schedule with full-time hours (25+ hours) preferred, and requires travel, in-person and telehealth service delivery. Candidates should have a Master's degree in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work or related fields, experience with children and families, and be bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
• Experience with children and families.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• In-person and telehealth service delivery.
• Licensed (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health services in the field/community to children, adolescents, families and adults.
• Travel to Okeechobee County as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess and plan care.
