Created in 2005, Phoenix Rising BHR provides outpatient psychiatric, counseling, and case management services to children, adolescents, and adults. Position Summary

We are looking for full or part-time counselors to join our behavioral health and counseling treatment (BHCT) team. As a counselor, you will provide services to persons with severe and persistent mental illness. Counselors at Phoenix Rising BHR utilize evidence-based techniques such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, EMDR, trauma-informed care interventions, and other emerging best practices in mental health.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide individual counseling sessions using evidenced-based practices
  • Submit timely documentation of services through EHR
  • Collaborate with agency and community providers to support client care
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in human service field
  • Active Ohio licensure with CSWMFT board to diagnose and treat mental illness, LPC, LPCC, MFT, IMFT
