Positive Living Psychotherapy is a thriving private practice located in the North Point area of Alpharetta, GA. The practice focuses on providing mental health counseling services, medication management and overall mind-body wellness to clients in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Role Description

This is a part-time with option to become full-time, mostly an on-site role for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Positive Living Psychotherapy in Alpharetta, GA. The counselor will be responsible for providing treatment planning, mental health counseling, assessments, relationship counseling, and case management services to clients. This role is as an Independent Contractor and requires caseload building. The pay is a generous flat fee per session (not a percentage split or time-clock). Since this practice does not accept nor file with insurance, the therapists' pay is quite competitive, and based on licensure, areas of specialty and experience.

Qualifications

• Treatment Planning, counseling/psychotherapy skills
• Experience in Relationship Counseling and Case Management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds
• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred; an Associate License of one of these in the state of Georgia is a minimum requirement
