Job description

Pay Range

This range is provided by Baltimore Crisis Response, Inc. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $36.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Location and Schedule

Location: Remote

Shift: 9 AM to 5 PM

Sign-On Bonus: $1200

Job Responsibilities
  1. Provide crisis and behavior stabilization services supporting clients with behavioral health needs.
  2. Conduct behavioral health assessments for individuals in crisis.
  3. Collaborate with team members to provide crisis intervention, supportive counseling, and de-escalation.
  4. Coordinate transportation and referrals to appropriate care facilities.
  5. Offer short-term evidence-based counseling to individuals and support to families.
  6. Attend relevant training courses.
  7. Coordinate as a liaison with stakeholders.
  8. Adhere to policies, expectations, and behavioral competencies.
  9. Perform additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications & Additional Details
Educational and License Requirements
  • Master's in Clinical Psychology (MA or MS) or Social Work (MSW).
  • Current counseling/social work licensure in Maryland (LCPC, LGPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C).
  • Current BLS Certification preferred.
Experience
  • At least 2 years of counseling experience.
Additional Requirements
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems preferred.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
  • Prolonged sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Potential exposure to emotional and stressful situations.
Other Details
  • Full-time, remote, non-exempt position working 9 AM - 5 PM EST.
