Job summary

Lutheran Community Services NW seeks a clinician to oversee clinical management and direct access to services, coordinating care and referrals across partners.

You will supervise clinical staff and ensure quality assurance while working across office, community, and faith-based settings to deliver culturally competent care.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Art Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or closely related field.
  • Licensure: LPCA, QMHP, LPC, LCSW, CSWA.
  • Fluency in English and Ukrainian.
  • Willingness to travel between worksites.
  • Experience serving diverse and marginalized populations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide culturally appropriate, trauma-informed counseling to individuals, families, and groups.
  • Maintain active caseload with case notes and records.
  • Conduct mental health screenings and referrals to medication management or other services.
  • Apply evidenced-based practices in treatment.
  • Collaborate with consumer supports and partner agencies.
  • Demonstrate awareness of cultural and socioeconomic characteristics in service delivery.
  • Model professional communication and support staff networks.

All LCSNW team members will contribute to our mission of partnering with individuals, families and communities for health, justice and hope. As part of the Multicultural Counseling team, this position will oversee clinical management and direct assistance in gaining access to services, coordination of care, and linkage to appropriate services. Also responsible for providing supervision and quality assurance to clinical staff as well as management of referrals, screening, assessment and treatment planning as well as clinical coverage as needed

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
  • Provide culturally appropriate, trauma-informed counseling to individuals, families, and groups
  • Maintain active case load including case notes and records in alignment with the agency's documentation standards
  • Conduct mental health screenings and assessments to determine treatment needs and referrals to medication management or other adjunctive services (e.g. support group, peer support, case management)
  • Apply evidenced-based practices in treatment
  • Collaborate with consumer supports, including family members, partner agencies, and others as indicated on an ongoing basis
  • Demonstrate awareness and sensitivity in the delivery of client services as it relates to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the populations served
  • Model and encourage direct, professional communication among staff members, and facilitate development of a positive staff support network
HOW YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT:
  • Fluency in English and Ukrainian
  • Master's degree granted by an accredited institution in Counseling, Art Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or closely related field.
  • LPCA or QMHP, LPC, LCSW, CSWA
  • Thrives in a diverse and multicultural environment
  • Exceptional commitment to serving and advocating for diverse and marginalized populations
  • Travels between worksites occasionally
  • Works in a variety of settings, including and not limited to LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community-based settings, client home/community settings, outdoor settings in varying weather conditions, and faith-based settings such as churches
  • Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job-relevant clearances as required by the State or program

Clearances: Standard LCSNW criminal clearance, including national sex offender, ORCHARDS, SAM/OIG required.
