As part of the ICAMHS multidisciplinary team, this role suits experienced professionals seeking a specialized mental health position, as well as less experienced applicants aiming to develop clinical skills in a supportive environment.
The Clinician will be involved in community-based child and adolescent mental health emergency services, including risk assessments, short-term interventions, connecting with community services, and discussing treatment options.
We provide specialist assessment and therapeutic interventions for young people with serious mental health challenges, emphasizing family involvement in recovery.
This role involves working Monday to Friday during office hours, serving local and rural communities, offering opportunities to engage closely with the community.

You should be a Registered Mental Health Professional with experience working with children, adolescents, and families in bi-cultural and/or multicultural settings.
Ideally, you have at least 2 years of post-registration experience, possess acute assessment skills, make quick decisions prioritizing community safety, and enjoy independent clinical work while collaborating with the wider team.
