Job summary

SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health in Charleston, SC seeks a Mental Health Professional I to provide crisis intervention and case management for children and adults. Services may occur in the clinic, CPD headquarters, or community settings, with collaboration with local police and community partners.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and experience providing direct patient care; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling or other behavioral discipline deemed equivalent by BHDD.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention and case management services to children and adult patients.
• Collaborate with Law Enforcement and the community; coordinate responses with CPD.
• Ensure timely response to requests for services; maintain QA standards.
• Maintain competency in Evidence Based Practices; comply with policies and regulations.
