Ottawa County Community Mental Health in Holland, MI seeks a part-time clinician to deliver behavioral health services, conduct mental health screening, intake and assessment, and develop person-centered treatment plans.
The role includes direct individual, group, conjoint, and family psychotherapy, with emphasis on recovery, community integration, and independence; requires a master’s in social work, psychology, or related field and state licensure or ability to obtain.
Please note: Ottawa County Community Mental Health is currently transitioning to an independent authority. As of January 1, 2027, this position will be part of the Ottawa County Community Mental Health Authority.
This is a professional position responsible for providing clinical assessment, diagnostic, therapy and some case management services to consumers and families. This position generally serves a population whose needs are less intense than populations in other programs.
Compensation for this position is directly tied to number of consumer contacts.
This is a part-time, non-benefited position based out of the James Street Complex at 12265 James Street, Holland, MI 49424.
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related mental health field is required. Two years of relevant professional experience in a mental health agency preferred. Lived experiences with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders are valued.
Licenses and Certifications:
Must possess or obtain State of Michigan licensure as a Licensed Master's Social Worker, Limited Licensed Master's Social Worker, Licensed Psychologist, Limited Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Limited Licensed Professional Counselor. Additional certification as a CADC, CAADC or equivalent is preferred.
