Job summary

Cardinal McCloskey Community Services in New York, NY seeks a compassionate Clinician to support adults, children, and families at the McCloskey Cares Clinic in the South Bronx. You will provide individual, group, and family therapy and crisis intervention to promote mental wellness.

Responsibilities include creating initial treatment plans within 30 days of admission, updating plans every 6 months, documenting progress notes and discharge summaries, and collaborating with the care team to

Qualifications

• Master's level clinician with a degree in social work or mental health counseling with diagnostic privilege.
• Licensure or limited permit required.
• Minimum two years' experience providing clinical assessments/treatments, case management for children/adolescents and families.
• Knowledge of the complex issues presented by children and families in the child welfare system.
• Some working knowledge of NYC Children's systems.
• Familiarity with OMH operated Article 31 clinics, Part 599 regulations preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
