Easter Seals NH, Inc. is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join our Children’s Therapeutic Services team in Manchester. You will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide counseling to children and families in clinic, community, or school settings.

The role requires a Master’s or Doctorate in a related field, licensure eligibility, 2+ years in community mental health, and EMR experience. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in psychology, social work, clinical mental health counseling, or related field.
• Eligible for licensure as LCSW/LPC/LCMHC or similar.
• 2+ years in community mental health with diverse clients/diagnoses.
• Experience with EMR systems required.
• Trauma-Informed Care training within 3 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments and evaluations per program and licensing standards.
• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy in various settings.
• Complete timely clinical documentation aligned with program standards.
• Coordinate care with internal and external healthcare providers and staff.
• Educate clients and families about mental health conditions and treatments.
• Offer crisis intervention services when needed.
• Prepare progress reports and required agency/state documentation.
• Contribute to staff trainings and identified educational needs.

Our Children's Therapeutic Services program at Easterseals utilizes each child’s natural curiosity to create the experiences that enhance growth and development in partnership with their families and their caregivers.As an essential member of a multidisciplinary team, the Mental Health Clinician plays a pivotal role in providing high quality care, support, and therapeutic interventions to children and families experiencing mental health challenges. Whether working within a community settings, clinic or school settings, the clinician's responsibilities range from conducting assessments and developing personalized treatment plans to offering counseling and crisis intervention services.**Qualifications:*** Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a related field* Currently or is eligible for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) or similar* 2+ year of experience working in community mental health settings while providing crisis intervention and mental health services to a diverse population of clients and diagnoses* Experience working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems required* Ability to obtain and maintain a record of training completion in Trauma-Informed Care, within 3 months of hire* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation**Essential Functions:*** Conduct thorough psychological assessments and evaluations in alignment with program, agency, and licensing standards.* Develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plans.* Provide therapeutic treatment to clients in individual and group therapy sessions in a variety of clinical and/or natural settings.* Complete and maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation that aligns with program standards.* Coordinate care needs with internal & external healthcare providers, support staff, and early childhood professionals in order to ensure high-quality services are provided.* Educate clients and families about mental health conditions and treatments.* Offer crisis intervention services when necessary.* Develop progress reports, per appropriate state department, and any additional reporting needed to meet Agency (including billing), federal or state requirements.* Participate in identifying training needs and conducting staff training, especially as it pertains to staff responsibilities.* Provide integrated services within the Early Childhood Centers of Excellence, collaborating with classroom teachers, outpatient providers, and support staff.What’s in it for you?
