Position Highlights:
Position: Mental Health Clinical Therapist II, Community Health, Hybrid
Hourly Pay Range: $32.37-$48.90. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Location: Evanston Medical Group
Full Time/Part Time: 40 hours/ Full Time
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM
Travel: Hybrid/ Telehealth Therapy Opportunity (1-2 days a week remote)
What you will do:
Provides individual psychotherapy and psychoeducation to underinsured and uninsured individuals.
Serve as liaison between Community Partners and Swedish Hospital to support community partner needs through referrals, trainings, and support cross-program collaboration.
Therapists are expected to provide in-person care options for patients 2 days per week, and the other days are spent working from home providing telehealth therapy through the Epic medical record system.
Our model of therapy is typically short-term, goal focused therapy.
Therapists are expected to participate in division meetings and department meetings and may be assigned other tasks to promote the well-being of the department’s clinical providers.
Provide assessment and treatment of out-patients referred to MG - Psychiatry.
Treatment modalities include individual, marital, group, and family psychotherapy. Diagnostic modalities may include psychological, psycho-educational, and vocational assessment.
Completes and adheres to all credentialing/privileging requirements and guidelines, peer reviews, quality assurance guidelines, and all practice directives as directed by the Chairman, Department of Psychiatry and Head, Division of Psychology, Medical Group.
What you will need:
Education: Master's Degree Required
Certification: Current State of Illinois licensure with a minimum of four letters which may include LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or LMFT (Licensed Marital & Family Therapist).
Experience: Minimum of two years post-graduate experience in the field of social work. Youth/adolescent focused experience.
Unique or Preferred Skills: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)/Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), group therapy, solution-focused therapy. Bilingual/Multilingual in a high-demand language for patient population preferred.
