Job summary

NARA Northwest seeks an Adult Mental Health Clinical Supervisor to oversee staff in the Adult Mental Health Program. You will supervise therapists, behavioral health clinicians, and other staff, ensuring high-quality care respectful of Native American communities.

The role emphasizes clinical supervision, QA, and direct service delivery, with an emphasis on culturally appropriate treatment models and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. This is an in-person, Monday–Friday position.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensed as a Mental Health Professional in Oregon (LCSW/LPC/LMFT/psych).
  • Meets QMHP requirements per Oregon Administrative Rules.
  • Must meet Oregon Admin Rule requirements to supervise pre-licensed clinicians.
  • 30-hour clinical supervision training in Oregon.
  • Must pass Oregon licensing Board's Law & Rules exam.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support day-to-day activities of therapists, students, and counselors.
  • Provide direct clinical services equating to half of a full-time caseload.
  • Deliver culturally appropriate clinical consultation with Native American focus.
  • Implement treatment models for co-occurring disorders.
  • Participate in quality assurance, including chart reviews and audits.
  • Cosign supervisees' clinical notes in a timely manner.
  • Provide orientation, onboarding, and ongoing staff training.
  • Offer crisis consultation and on-call support.
