Job summary

Mercy is seeking a compassionate professional to assist Mental Health case managers and therapists in delivering psychosocial services to patients and families. The role supports the Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards while contributing to high-quality behavioral health care.

The position emphasizes collaboration, patient-centered communication, and strong computer proficiency, with preferred experience in Behavioral Health and a commitment to ongoing education in the field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling or other human-service-related field (preferred).
• Minimum one year Behavioral Health experience preferred OR Education: pursuing a degree in human-service-related field.
• 2 years experience in the Behavioral Health field preferred.
• Co-worker must be able to communicate orally, in writing and demonstrate proficient computer skills. Must listen and explain complex situations.

Position Details:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling or other human-service-related field (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum one year Behavioral Health experience preferred OR Education: working towards a degree (preferred) in human-service-related field.
• Experience: 2 years experience in the Behavioral Health field preferred.
• Preferred Other: Co-worker must be able to communicate orally, in writing and demonstrate proficient computer skills. Co-worker must be able to listen and to understand and explain complex situations.
