Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling & Guidance, Rehabilitation Counseling, Vocational Counseling, Pastoral Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Must qualify as Mental Health Professional (MHP) per Illinois DMH Rule 132.
• Adequate written skills to complete required documentation within time frames.
• Demonstrated skills in case management and counseling (individual, family, group).
• Ability to navigate and document in the electronic health record.
• Competence in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and with a team.
• Ability to present and coordinate lectures for clients, families, staff, or community resources.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency insurance requirements.
• Personal transportation required.
• Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance.

Responsibilities

• Work hours prescribed by the role and any additional hours as needed.
• Motivate and problem solve with staff regarding clinical practices.
• Be self-motivated, seek improved performance, and address complex client needs.
• Adapt communication style to client and family.
• Complete documentation within required time lines.
• Undertake primary case management for designated clients.
• Conduct individual, group, and family counseling and education sessions.
• Maintain client service records per regulations.
• Coordinate services with community resources.
• Deliver care using evidence-based practices and various service modalities.
• Present workshops and trainings to clients, families, staff, and community groups.
• Participate in court appearances as needed.
• Be a member of the Clinical Team and attend meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality per Code of Conduct and law.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to every customer.
• Be a role model and uphold positive guest relations for the agency.
• Assume other related responsibilities as delegated by management.
