Job summary

Clinica Family Health & Wellness in Colorado is seeking a compassionate professional with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or counseling (or one year in behavioral health) to join our outpatient behavioral health team. You will help clients achieve wellness goals with case management, supportive counseling, and group facilitation.

You’ll use MI/DBT, build strong relationships, and manage a diverse caseload while engaging in outreach and coordination with care providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field required or one year experience in behavioral health for non-related degrees.
• Experience with outpatient clients, adults, children and families with mental illness and substance use issues.
• Knowledge of clinical modalities: Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and other CBTs.
• Collaborative, client-centered orientation and ability to manage a caseload of diverse needs.
• Collaborative team member who can jump in, support clients and the team.
• Community outreach experience; occasional client transportation to connect to care.
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid programs.
