Endeavor Health is a fully integrated healthcare system serving a large Illinois area with Magnet hospitals for nursing excellence. We are seeking a Mental Health Associate I to support patient care, supervise safety, and assist in treatment planning at Swedish Hospital in Chicago.

Ideal candidates hold a Behavioral Health degree with exposure to therapeutic activities, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate strong teamwork and communication across shifts and with families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a Behavioral Health field.
• Alternate requirement: non-behavioral health degree with 1 year behavioral health experience.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries; seek supervision when needed.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates groups and activities; encourages patient participation in therapy.
• Provide one-to-one supervision to ensure patient safety and engagement.
• Orient new patients and relay necessary hand-off information.
• Contribute to treatment planning with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete documentation for patients, programs and department.
• Perform clerical and administrative tasks to support operations.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to shift lead and family.
