Responsibilities

Participate as a member of the mental health team on an inpatient behavioral health unit. Provide direct patient care, including treatment planning, implementation, documentation, milieu safety assessments, and activities such as group therapy and recreational activities.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• American Heart Association certification for healthcare provider CPR (required upon hire or during orientation, renewed every two years)
• Avade 2 (restraint) training completed within 30 days of hire

Preferred:

• Associate's degree
• Medical terminology and computer skills

Experience/Skills:

• Effective communication in English
• Interpersonal skills for respectful, culturally sensitive interactions
• Problem-solving abilities
• Two years of experience in a health-related field preferred
