Alabama Clinical Schools has been a behavioral healthcare provider in the Birmingham area for over 20 years. Our treatment services range from intensive residential treatment for males ages 9-18 to therapeutic foster care for males and females of all ages. Our RISE and Specialized Therapeutic Foster Care programs for boys are the only programs of their kind in the State of Alabama. He/she provides direct care to residents with psychiatric disorders, to ensure their safety and well-being. MHAs have the primary responsibility for ensuring the resident’s safety on the unit utilizing a therapeutic approach to all tasks including assistance with daily activities, facilitation of groups, and other duties as assigned by Group Leader, Assistant Group Leader, or Shift Supervisor.
This position is for 3rd shift, Monday to Friday, 11 pm to 7:30 am, with a rotating weekend of 9 pm to 9 am Saturday and 9 pm to 7:30 am on Sunday. If you work a weekend, you are off two days the following week. This position is also eligible for a $3,000 Sign-on Bonus.
