Job summary

HRI Hospital in Brookline, MA, a 66-bed psychiatric facility, is seeking Full Time Mental Health Advocates to join a multidisciplinary team providing high quality inpatient care and support.

You will monitor patient safety, assist nursing staff with treatment procedures, ensure a safe and therapeutic environment, assist with activities of daily living, document changes in client behavior, and help lead patient groups and activities.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma and at least 3 years of psychiatric experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services or current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of psychiatric experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and physical fitness for lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work with patients in acute psychiatric distress.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care in a psychiatric setting.
