We’re looking for a dedicated, compassionate Mental Health Advocate & Teacher to join our client's internal team within a correctional institution. This isn’t just a job — it’s a mission. You’ll play a vital role in supporting incarcerated individuals by providing mental health education, promoting emotional resilience, and helping them build the tools to transform their lives.
PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Mental Health Prison Advocate and Educator will assist incarcerated individuals with mental health needs by providing education, support, and advocacy for their specific needs. The Advocate and Support staff will ensure proper linkage to services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education, social work, psychology, or related human service field, with experience working with the incarcerated population. Associate degrees with at least two years of relevant experience will also be considered.

PAY RATE: $19/hr
