Job summary

New York University in New York, NY is seeking an Assistant Varsity Coach for Men’s Volleyball. You will help develop recruiting plans, recruit and evaluate prospects, and conduct recruitment visits in line with NCAA Division III and UAA rules.

In collaboration with the Head Coach, you will assist with practice planning, contest strategies, and player conditioning programs. You will help develop practice segments, present scouting reports, and contribute to new defensive or offensive schemes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 1+ years of experience as a player or assistant coach at high school or college level or equivalent.
• CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain.
• Driver's license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop recruiting plans and actively recruit and evaluate prospects.
• Conduct recruitment visits and assessments of prospective student-athletes.
• Ensure compliance with NCAA Division III and UAA regulations.
• Assist with development of practice plans, strategies for contests, and player conditioning programs.
• Present scouting reports and help implement new defensive or offensive schemes.
