Job summary

University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis is seeking Assistant Coaches focused on instructing student-athletes in sport skills and in-game coaching. This is a salaried, 0.80 FTE position, benefits eligible, with meaningful time commitment during the season and flexibility outside it.

Responsibilities include one-on-one and team development, assisting with practices, game strategy, and travel with the team, plus supporting recruitment and academic success for student-athletes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Experience coaching at collegiate level preferred.
• Excellent communication with players, recruits and parents.

Responsibilities

• Instruct student-athletes in sport-specific skills and game-ready technique.
• Assist head coach with practices, game plans, and video review to support development.
• Support recruiting efforts and maintain records and communications with recruits.
