Job summary

PHOENIX Retail, LLC, overseeing the Express brand, invites rising juniors, seniors, and grads to join the Men’s Design Summer Internship in New York. The 10-week program runs June 2 to August 5, offering hands-on design exposure, cross-functional collaboration, and professional skill development.

Participants will work with design teams, conduct trend research, create concept boards, and produce technical sketches using Adobe Illustrator.

Qualifications

• Available to work full-time for 10 weeks (June 2 – August 5).
• Embrace four-days-in-office approach and relocate to NYC office (housing not provided).
• Commit to the entire internship period and meet GPA preference (≥3.2).

Responsibilities

• Work with Design teams to build the seasonal line.
• Research trends via competitive analysis for Express menswear.
• Develop concept boards and prepare presentations for meetings.
• Create technical sketches and illustrations for seasonal presentations both by hand and in Illustrator.
• Organize samples for meetings and working sessions.
