Overview
Executive position leads a team to execute the procurement, distribution, education, & marketing of Men’s Branded & Private Brand dress shirts assortment. Preferred candidates must be a self-starter, knowledgeable of current fashion trends, able to analyze key financial metrics, & possess leadership and team building skills. This role works closely with the Vice President/GMM Men’s Tailored Furnishings, designers, vendor partners, education team, & stores to execute a cohesive vision for Dillard’s Menswear.
Responsibilities
- Reviews and analyzes sales by category, department, century, and comparable brand trends to set future strategy.
- Finds new products & challenges vendor partners for newness.
- Works with Vice President/GMM to build store financial purchase plans.
- Builds seasonal buy plans in alignment with financials.
- Projects monthly sales, markdowns, & purchases to maintain inventory plans.
- Effectively distribute merchandise to stores using all available tools.
- Maintains continuous communication with Design Team on business results and active style/category performance.
- Proposes and submits all marketing and advertising needs for both digital and in-store opportunities.
- Creates and shares training opportunities for seasonal product knowledge directives, merchandising directives, and fit guides for store teams & webinars.
- Develops relationships with vendors to optimize performance and achieve business objectives.
- Develops relationships with stores & inspires their merchandising vision.
- Visits Dillard’s stores with Dillard’s Executive Leadership.
Qualifications / Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of fashion and color trends.
- Skill in analyzing sales data.
- Skill in using Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
- Skill in relationship building and influencing action.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Position Requirements
- Three (3) years of experience preferred in Retail Management, Retail Merchandising or Retail Buying or any combination.
- Must be willing to travel as needed based on projects and partnership requests.
