Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a part-timeSales Outfitter to assist customers with product information, demonstrate merchandise, and maintain stock and presentation standards. You will help customers find items, reference promotions, and ensure a friendly shopping experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will be expected to stay knowledgeable about products, assist with seasonal moves, and handle basic POS transactions while following company policies and preserving a safe, clean store

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Replenish products on shelves per Merchandising guidelines.
• Remain product expert through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Remain knowledgeable of advertised sales; maintain pricing and signing.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Restock merchandise as required.
• Keep work area clean, neat and well stocked with supplies.
• Provide a legendary experience for every customer by identifying needs and making product recommendations.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
• All other duties as assigned
