EngeniusMicro, a hardware-focused small business with MEMS/NEMS expertise, seeks an experienced engineer to lead technology development and prototype evaluations. You will drive proposals, perform simulations, and guide foundry transitions for innovative microsystems.

The role requires strong technical acumen, collaboration in a fast-paced team, and a keen ability to adapt to evolving research directions.

Formación

• Must have experience in SiCOI fabrication.
• 5 years of relevant experience; 9 years with no degree.
• 2-3 years of printing polymers on MEMS resonators.
• 2-3 years of experience using the NanoScribe.
• Experience microfabricating technology in cleanroom or chemical lab.
• Experience in modeling technology in commercial numerical software.
• Experience/knowledge of failure analysis techniques.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
• Integrity, passion, collaboration, and adaptability in a changing environment.
• Adherence to chemical safety in shared lab.

Responsabilidades

• Support business development by leading proposal writing and providing technical expertise.
• Lead the development of technologies enabling new Microsystems.
• Carry out numerical simulations on finite element software.
• Lead prototype design and evaluation efforts.
• Support foundry transition of products.
• Contribute to engineering team development through continual improvement.
• Analyze problems as part of research or solution design.
• Validate ideas through testing, development, or demonstration.
• Create and develop documentation related to department processes.
• Implement processes to ensure efficiency.
• Proactively explore technologies useful to the company.
• Proactively conduct innovation initiatives.
