Job summary

Broadcom is seeking an R&D Dry Etch Process Engineer within the Wireless Semiconductor Division (WSD) in Northern Colorado to develop and sustain dry etch processes for MEMS-based silicon fabrication.

You will work on new materials, optimize processes, and transfer developments to high-volume manufacturing. DOE-style experiments and data analysis will support process changes while addressing yield and defect issues across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing as a Dry Etch Engineer.
• Strong documentation skills for new process development and improvements.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and deliver results.
• Track record of self-motivated learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain dry etch processes for MEMS fabrication.
• Explore new materials and processes, optimize and transfer to high-volume manufacturing.
• Design experiments (DOE) and analyze data to support process changes.
• Identify and resolve yield and defect issues and communicate results across teams.
