A leading staffing and consulting firm is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join their Memphis facility. This role involves managing an automated pharmacy environment, overseeing workflow and ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws. Candidates must possess a degree in Pharmacy and an unrestricted license in Tennessee, with multi-state licensure preferred. The position offers a 5-month assignment with potential for extension, focusing on delivering accurate medication orders and supervising pharmacy staff.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Tennessee.
• Eligibility for licensure in additional states required; multi-state licensure preferred.
• Experience working in a high-volume or automated pharmacy environment preferred.

Mansioni

• Review, verify, and dispense medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage workflow within the central fill pharmacy to meet production targets.
• Replenish hoppers and provide oversight of pharmacy automation systems.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, clerks, and support personnel.
• Perform quality checks during production as requested by the operations team.
• Document and report medication errors to the Supervisor and Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC).
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Oversee return-to-stock processes.
• Provide directions and assistance to staff involved in filling medication orders.
• Provide professional product and drug information to the operations team as needed.
• Monitor proper storage and distribution of medications.
• Complete end-of-day assignments, including following protocols for closing the facility.
• Promote teamwork and assist team members as required.
• Follow all company and pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
