Job summary

Ingleside at Rock Creek, a not-for-profit life plan community in Washington, DC, is seeking a Part Time Engaged Living Assistant for Memory Support in the Adult Day program. The role focuses on group and individual life enrichment for residents, with duties spanning activity planning, documentation, and family communication.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or higher in a human services field, and CDP eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or Associates Degree in a Human Service field required.
• Dementia Practitioner certification or eligibility within 90 days is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement life enrichment programs for Memory Support residents.
• Assist with planning and leading group and individual activities.
• Provide one-to-one support and coordinate with care plans and meetings.
• Assist with transportation and adapt activities to resident needs.
