Job summary

Google's Silicon Development team is seeking a Technical Program Manager III to lead memory-related silicon programs across concept, architecture, design, validation and NPI, coordinating with SoC teams and external vendors.

You will plan requirements with internal customers, manage schedules, identify risks, and communicate trade-offs to executives and engineers while driving execution and metrics across the program lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of program management experience.
• Experience working with SoC subsystems.
• Experience managing memory-related silicon programs through all stages including concept, architecture, design, validation, physical design, silicon engineering, silicon validation, and NPI.

Responsibilities

• Justify, plan, coordinate, and deliver custom silicon products or silicon development tooling and infrastructure projects.
• Assess complexity and scope out the project, generate task lists, build an efficient timeline and work with teams to realize it.
• Lead data-driven schedules, track progress, and identify mitigations with team leaders.
• Drive technical, budgetary, and schedule tradeoffs with cross-functional teams.
• Manage execution and issues through design, development, testing, manufacturing, deployment and sustaining activities for silicon and hardware.
