Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for Memory Neurology. This 100% outpatient-focused APP role involves evaluation, diagnosis, and management of cognitive and memory disorders within a transdisciplinary team.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with no on-call duties. A Master’s degree and relevant acute care credentials are required along with IL RN and APRN licenses, plus board certification and credentialing readiness.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program OR PA program.
• Acute care certification required for APRNs; inpatient experience may substitute.
• Current IL RN license and IL APRN license; credentialing with MSO; DEA/CS license eligibility.

• Demonstrates clinical care and management of a wide range of health problems.
• Prescribes/orders medications and therapies; orders/tests per privileges.
• Confers with collaborating physicians and other health professionals.
• Develops education for patients, families and staff in areas of expertise.
• Maintains licensure and continuing education; participates in quality improvement.
• Acts as a patient advocate and participates in committees as appropriate.
