Walworth County is seeking a part-time program assistant in Elkhorn, Wisconsin to support daily activities for participants. Responsibilities include sanitizing and setting up tables and chairs, greeting participants, documenting attendance, and assisting volunteers with program needs and therapeutic activities.
The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and basic arithmetic skills, with up to six months of related experience.
Days: Monday and Thursday

Sanitize and set tables and chairs prior to program start. Sanitize tables and chairs and put away in designated area after participants have departed for the day. Check program space to ensure the proper temperature and set up. Move or remove items that may pose as a tripping hazard. Assist in providing programming for eligible participants; cognitive stimulation, relaxation, exercise/stretching, engagement, etc. Greet participants and document participant attendance. Provide direction to volunteers on program needs and participant assistance. Assist participants with hand over hand therapeutic technique when engaged in programs. Ensure that program supplies are stocked and accessible. Compile all daily and monthly paperwork. Demonstrate a commitment to county safety and risk management efforts.

High school diploma or equivalent competencies, and zero to six months of relevant prior experience. Proven basic arithmetic skills with ability to count and look-up numbered items, or sort times in numerical order.
