Job summary

Merrill Gardens, LLC in San Jose is seeking a compassionate Senior Living Caregiver to provide respectful, personalized care for residents with dementia, promoting dignity and independence through hands-on engagement.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, manage medications as allowed by state rules, and complete daily progress notes. CNA license or caregiver training is preferred, with CPR certification obtainable within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, meals, mobility).
• Monitor and help with medications as allowed by state regulations.
• Complete daily progress reports of services provided and chart by exception.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.
