Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking caregivers to assist residents with daily living activities in a part-time role. You will help with grooming, bathing, and maintaining residents’ environments, transport residents to activities, and respond to emergencies in a timely, safe manner.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent; CPR certification is preferred, and prior experience with elderly populations is desirable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CPR certification preferred
• Experience working with an elderly population preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with assistance in daily living activities (grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment)
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner
• Review and adhere to resident care plans, and obtain vital signs
