Job summary

Sagora Senior Living’s Ellery Arbor Memory Care is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility while maintaining dignity and independence. The role involves engaging residents in programming and ensuring safety across all shift types.

Starting pay is $17.81 per hour. CNA certification is a plus but not required; dementia care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CNA certification is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with dementia care preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other associates in English.

Responsibilities

• Caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Aid in daily tasks such as housekeeping, use of telephone, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
• Participate in programming for residents.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status.
• Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.
• Assist in dining including escorting residents to dining room, serving, and clean up.
• Other duties as assigned.
