Lansdowne Heights Memory Care in Leesburg, VA is seeking a part-time Recreation Aide to lead daily activities and provide compassionate support to residents. Shifts are 15-20 hours weekly with weekend availability required.

Ideal candidates are patient, friendly, and possess excellent communication skills. You will organize games, exercise, arts, and outings, work with volunteers, and collaborate with other departments to create a warm, engaging daily routine.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the recreation area for the day.
• Lead group activities such as exercise, news, and games.
• Provide one-on-one engagement at different times during the day.
• Provide snacks and assist with nutritious offerings.
• Reminisce and guide sensory activities.
• Lead purposeful activities like cooking, cleaning, gardening and other chores.
• Support volunteers and decorate events.
• Collaborate with other departments to run daily programming.
