Job summary

Patriots Landing is seeking a Part-Time/On-Call Activities Assistant to support memory care residents with daily activities. The role includes leading exercise classes, organizing the activity calendar, and helping with in-house and community events.

The ideal candidate is active, self-starting, and able to engage residents in meaningful activities. CPR/First Aid certification and food handler training are preferred; hours include Saturdays and Sundays with some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Reliability with a cheerful, outgoing personality.
• Experience with memory care or senior living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uphold mission, philosophies and values of the facility.
• Organize and help plan monthly activity calendar in cooperation with the Activities Director.
• Facilitate daily in-house group and one-on-one activities.
• Assist care staff and residents at mealtimes as permitted.
• Drive, load and unload the community bus; no CDL required.
• Coordinate decorating for monthly themes, holidays and events.
• Implement monthly special events with the Activities Director.
