Genesis Rehab Services in Carlisle, PA, is seeking a Memory Support Director to lead dementia care programs and ensure high-quality outcomes for residents. You will partner with nursing leadership to budget, staff memory care teams, and monitor care delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in a related field, 3 years dementia care, 2 years supervision, and active state licensure. You will drive education, quality improvement, and ensure compliance with regulations, delivering

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with nursing center leadership to manage the department budget and business plans.
• Oversees memory care staffing, including interviews, hires, onboarding and performance management.
• Conducts rounds on the unit to assess patient needs and ensure care quality.
• Ensures ongoing education, training, and competency validation per policies and regulations.
• Leads a continuous quality improvement process for the department and participates in the QI committee.

Responsibilities

The Memory Suport Director is responsible for the delivery of efficient and effective dementia care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/resident and family satisfaction. The Director develops and maintains a quality program that therapeutically addresses the needs of patients/residents with dementia and their family.

• Works with nursing center leadership to develop, allocate and control the budget for the Department, actively participating in the business planning process including marketing plans.
• Manages memory care staffing to make sure staffing is sufficient to meet the needs of the patients/family; interviews, hires, on-boards, orients and manages the performance of staff.
• Completes rounds on the unit to observe patients/residents and to determine if nursing needs are being met.
• Ensures education, training, and competency validation is completed per the company policies and state and federal regulations.
• Employs a strong Quality Improvement (QI) process for the department and participates on the QI Committee.

• Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work, Nursing, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology or other related field.

Posted Salary Range

USD $40.00 - USD $42.00 /Hr.
