Job summary

Gates House, a Navion Senior Living Community, is seeking a Life Enrichment Director to lead the daily life enrichment program for Memory Care residents. An energetic, take-charge leader will ensure residents are engaged each day and that the team delivers high-quality activity programming.

This is a full-time Day Shift role, with evening and weekend availability required to meet resident needs, and opportunities to collaborate with local partners and volunteers for a vibrant community

Qualifications

• At least one year of job-related supervisory experience, preferably in a senior living environment.
• High school diploma required, college degree preferred.
• Proven ability to train and motivate volunteers and fellow team members to provide quality activity programming.
• Maintain all appropriate state level certifications or licenses.
• Knowledge of local state and federal regulations pertaining to resident care and services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel) with the ability to learn new applications.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends to meet residents' needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, manage, and develop volunteer-based activities and programs that enrich residents' lives.
• Collaborate with other department heads and the Executive Director to build relationships with local schools, businesses and social organizations to establish a network of volunteers and community resources.
• Develop and maintain a calendar of activities and events for resident and family-centered experiences.
• Budget preparation and monitoring of expenses and financial statements to meet targets.
• Leadership responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, coaching and retaining a high-performing team.
