Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in the United States is seeking a Life Enrichment Manager to create personalized Life Skills experiences that foster purpose, familiarity and meaningful moments for residents, including those living with memory loss.

You will develop and implement activities, engage residents daily, organize clubs, tailor programs to cognitive ability, document participation and maintain stations and supplies.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability.
• Experience leading group activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities.
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines.
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs.
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities.
• Document participation per quality standards.
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies.
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support engagement.
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities.
