Bridges by EPOCH at Cook in Norwalk, CT is searching for a dedicated Cook to join our culinary team in a full-time role. You will work 11am-7pm, Tuesday through Saturday, preparing meals for residents in a memory care setting and ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Food preparation and other culinary services in the kitchen.
• Hands on la carte preparation and other culinary services in the kitchen.
• Must follow kitchen safety protocols.
• Some experience in an Assisted Living setting preferred; Hotel, club or fine dining a plus.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; ServSafe Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents in a memory care setting in accordance with planned menus.
• Follow recipes, portion controls and safety/sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas.
