Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking an Enrichment Leader in Calabasas, CA to plan and deliver memory enrichment activities for residents with dementia. You will lead small groups, follow our Whole Brain Fitness program, and collaborate with the team to help residents thrive.

The role requires an associates degree in a related field and at least 6 months of leading activities for individuals with special needs, plus reliable attendance and clear English communication.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 months leading group activities with a special needs population.
• Ability to work the defined schedule for this position, which may include weekends.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and teach small groups of cognitively impaired seniors in memory enrichment activities.
• Prepare materials and conduct relevant research to confidently lead activities.
• Assist with cognitive assessments, track resident participation and maintain related documentation.
