Job summary

Azura Memory Care of Fox Point is seeking an empathetic Activities & Engagement Coordinator to turn creativity into meaningful moments for residents with dementia. This full-time role runs 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, four days per week with alternating weekends, offering competitive pay and excellent benefits.

You will lead music, art, games, exercise and life enrichment programs, plan special events, and ensure residents feel valued and connected through person-centered engagement.

Qualifications

• Creative, upbeat and compassionate approach to activities with older adults.
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.
• Experience in activities, recreation, memory care, healthcare, education, or customer service is preferred, but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging activities that inspire smiles and meaningful connections.
• Lead music, art, games, exercise, sensory experiences, and life enrichment programs.
• Plan special events, celebrations, and outings for residents.
• Help each resident feel valued, included and connected through person-centered engagement.
• Collaborate with a supportive team that believes every moment matters.
