Morningside Elite Management in Setauket, NY, is seeking a Director of Memory Care to lead dementia programming for Stepping Stones and Memory Lane. You will oversee resident care, supervise dementia staff, and ensure high resident and family satisfaction through coordinated care plans.

Ideal candidates hold 2+ years of supervisory memory care experience, CPR/First Aid, and a CDP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years supervisory/management in memory care or assisted living environments.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all day-to-day functions of health and wellness department to include resident care and personnel.
• Lead staff to adhere to Policies and Procedures (P&P) and state/federal regulations for assisted living facilities.
• Serve as nursing representative to state and county licensing agencies.
• Supervise health and wellness staff, including hiring, evaluations, and training.
• Assist in development and implementation of nursing policy in consultation with administration.
• Support marketing with community tours and provide excellent customer service to families.
