Villas of Holly Brook in Bloomington, IL is seeking a Memory Care Director to lead the Memory Care team, oversee clinical care, staff scheduling, and regulatory compliance across the community.

This full-time role spans 30–40 hours per week, offers a salary of about $70,000 per year, and includes medical, dental and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off accruing from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience of 2+ years in the care of senior adults and adults with cognitive decline.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational ability and communication skills.
• Knowledge of LTC management, policies, personnel management and census development.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, officials and the public.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.

Responsabilités

• Reports to Executive Director.
• Ensure adequate staff and assist with scheduling.
• Be knowledgeable of resident incidents at the facility.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Care Plan Meetings.
• Manage staff concerns and conflicts.
• Manage hiring and orientation of new staff.
• Manage and evaluate interdisciplinary Memory Care functions.
• Ensure infection control practices promote a healthy environment.
• Participate in resident and family care conferences.
• Ensure resident care is provided safely with dignity, privacy and respect.
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA/state regulations and monitor compliance.
• Prepare written and oral reports.
• Communicate with care staff to ensure tasks completed and documented.
• Any other duties assigned by Executive Director.

Essential Job Functions

• Reports to Executive Director
• Ensure there is adequate staff and assist with schedule as needed.

• Maintain a current knowledge of OSHA and state regulations and routinelymonitorCommunity compliance with regulations-related to resident care.
• Prepare written and oral reports requested within established time frame.
• Communicate with care staff to ensure tasks are completed and documented appropriately.
• Any other duties assigned by Executive Director.

Position Requirements

• Experience of 2 years or more in the care of senior adults and adults withcognitivedecline ispreferred.
• Must possess and demonstrate a high degree of leadership, organizational ability, and communications skills.
• Knowledge of LTC management, policies, personnel management and census development.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community and State officials and generalpublic.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
