Job summary

HERITAGE OAKS MANAGEMENT ENTERPRISES USA LLC is seeking a Memory Care Coordinator to oversee daily operations and deliver quality care to memory care residents under the Director of Resident Care. You will train, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure compassionate services.

Responsibilities include coordinating dietary, maintenance, housekeeping, maintaining a clean environment, and ensuring staffing meets regulations. Strong communication with residents, families, and staff is essential.

Qualifications

  • High school education required.
  • At least 1 year of experience with dementia/Alzheimer’s.
  • Experience supervising staff a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the memory care department.
  • Provide resident care following established service objectives and standards.
  • Train, supervise and schedule memory care staff.
  • Coordinate services from dietary, maintenance and housekeeping departments.
  • Maintain a clean and attractive environment and ensure staffing levels meet regulations.

Job description

The Memory Care Coordinator is responsible for the day to day operations and the provision of quality care to our Memory Care residents living in the Community under the direction of the Director of Resident Care. The Memory Care Coordinator trains, supervises, and schedules staff members. General responsibilities include: coordinating services from dietary, maintenance and housekeeping departments; maintaining a clean and attractive environment; ensuring staffing levels remain above state regulations; ensuring residents enjoy daily activities that are structured and well organized. Operates in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices that comply with federal, state, and local regulations. He or she demonstrates knowledge of the patients' physical, social, emotional, and psychological needs based on the health care required.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:Helps with the management and daily operations of the memory care departmentProvides resident care following established resident service objectives and standardsHelps manage and oversee staffManages supplies and ensures orderly work areasCommunicates with residents, staff and families regarding treatment and careEnsures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standardsQualifications & Physical Requirements:Desire to work with the seniors in an environment that upholds their privacy, dignity, choice, independence, and individuality.Excellent interpersonal and leadership skillsExcellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stressStrong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProficient computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suiteEducation & Experience:High school education requiredAt least one year of experience with dementia and/or Alzheimer’sAt least one year of experience in an assisted living community preferredExperience in supervising and managing staff a plusThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the employee in this position.
