Job summary

Prestige Care Center Of Plattsmouth in Nebraska is seeking an experienced memory care manager to direct daily nursing assistant functions in the memory care unit, ensuring care plans and regulatory compliance.

You will participate in surveys, audits, staffing coverage, and on-call rotations, perform resident visits, oversee memory support activities, and document care accurately while coordinating with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in the memory care unit according to current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ensure staff comply with written policies and procedures of the facility.
• Participate in facility surveys and in the quality assurance program for the nursing department.
• Assist on the floor as needed and be part of the on-call rotation.
• Oversee memory support activities and ensure residents receive required care.
• Complete memory care audits and participate in care plan and MDS processes.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels in the memory care unit at all times.
• Document care provided and resident responses to the plan of care.
• Have an active role with care plans and MDS.
• SSD or take classes as required.

• Hours M-F 11a-7p


• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants working in the memory care unit are in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.


• Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policiesand procedures established by this facility.


• Participate and cooperate with any facility surveys made by authorized government agencies as requested by the Administrator or Director of Nursing.


• Participate in implementation of the facility’s quality assurance program for thenursing department.


• Assist with working on the floor as needed.


• Be part of the on-call rotation


• Oversee all memory support activities


• Ensure that all residents residing in the memory care unit are engaged and receiving the care they need in order to live their best lives.


• Complete and report audits.


• Ensure appropriate staffing is available in the memory care unit at all times.


• Makes daily resident visits to observe and evaluate physical and emotional status.


• Makes rounds with nursing assistants and nurses within the memory care unit.


• Work as a manager on duty on a rotation basis.


• Complete memory care audits.


• Have an active role with care plans and MDS.


• Ensure that necessary documentation is completed describing the nursing careservices provided, resident response and status reflecting that plan of care is beingfollowed.

Will need to be an SSD or take classes.
