Job summary

A Home Away From Home Boutique Memory Care in Suffolk, VA is seeking caring, dependable Part-Time/PRN Caregivers to support older adults living with dementia. You will provide compassionate, relationship-centered care, assist with daily activities, and engage residents in meaningful, personalized interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living, memory care, home care, or healthcare preferred.
• PCA, CNA, HHA, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement.
• Support residents with mobility, toileting, dressing, bathing, and meals.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and families.
• Follow all company policies and resident care plans.
