Job summary

The Shores, a United Methodist Communities retirement community in Ocean City, NJ, seeks a part-time Memory Care Certified Medication Aide to support residents with dementia. You’ll administer medications under RN delegation, monitor responses, and assist with daily activities while communicating with the nurse.

Requirements include NJ CMA certification, NJ CNA certification, and a caring approach for residents with dementia.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey CMA certification from the NJ Department of Health.
• Active New Jersey CNA certification.
• Experience caring for people living with dementia (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Give residents their medications as delegated by the RN, following New Jersey rules and our policies.
• Watch for and write down how residents respond to their medications, and tell the nurse right away about any changes.
• Help residents with daily care like dressing, bathing, meals, and moving around safely.
• Keep families and teammates up to date, and bring questions or concerns to the nurse quickly.
